About Me
I have always loved building design and interiors. Following a life changing event in December 2020 I reassessed and left a career in educational fundraising to pursue this passion as a career. When not designing you will find me gardening, taking morning walks with my partner and 2 (adorable) cocker spaniels, dreaming of the international travel I hope to do again one day soon, and being Mum to two adult children and a stepson. Life is full!
My Work
It is my belief that our homes should reflect us, those who live within: our personalities, our values, our journeys. As well, the need to find balance between form and function, is paramount.
Eclectic, blended styles, a love of ‘old things’ and consideration of the environmental impact of our design choices all underpin my approach to design. Even in a brand new space, a piece of furniture with history can add warmth and soul. A mix of rustic and industrial styles can add so much depth and be so much more interesting than either one alone.
Now, perhaps more than ever, we are requiring our homes to fulfil multiple functions simultaneously. The pandemic of recent years has also brought about an increased desire to create in our home, a haven in which to grow and share life with those we love.
I am honoured to work with clients to create beautiful, nurturing spaces through redesign, redecoration or new building projects.
Thank you for your time and interest in my work.
