I decided to take a career transition, and I must confess that I was afraid to start an online course, but thank God I started.
I have no words to describe how incredible my journey during the course was and how it changed my life. I found an internship halfway through my course, and after 6 months, they decided to hire me.
I highly recommend The Interior Design Institute, even if you have no previous experience in this area, like me. The modules cover everything needed to find a job in this industry, and I also bought the advanced module in SketchUp while I was doing module 4. The best decision I've made.
I want to keep going, so I look forward to starting the next advanced module.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course, and I am delighted to have completed it while working full time and around family commitments.
Being able to complete each module at my own pace was of great benefit to me, and I would not hesitate to recommend this course to those who have an interest in interior design. My tutor gave great feedback on every assignment. Being able to build your own portfolio based on your own assignments is also fantastic.
I am looking forward to what the future holds, working in interior design.

I loved completing this course while on maternity leave with my daughter. It gave me something to stay focused on besides changing nappies and gave me an opportunity to explore another career path while on leave.
The course is really well set up, and every module was interesting and fun. It suits many levels, those that want to keep interior design as a hobby and those that are ready to take the plunge and start a new career.
Highly recommend the course to everyone with a passion for interior design!

With a passion for Interiors since an early age, I studied Interior Design at Griffith College Dublin while working full-time managing a Leisure Club. In 2011 I graduated with a Diploma in Interior Design.
At the time, there was a recession in Ireland, and there were no opportunities available. Years passed without being able to put my new skills into practice, and with no experience, I lacked the confidence to pursue a career in the Industry.
Then, in 2017, an opportunity arose to work part-time as an Interior Designer in a small company in Co. Dublin. I had finally made the career change and was excited to start my new role.
Over the past number of years, I have learnt a great deal working on small to medium size projects in the residential sector I participate in all aspects of the design process through managing project installation, which I have thoroughly enjoyed.
To continue to grow as an Interior Designer, I needed to expand my knowledge in specific areas such as Lighting, Colour Schemes, Space Planning, and SketchUp. I wanted to be able to provide clients with 3D images to help them visualize the proposed space. The Advanced Module was certainly the most challenging; the video tutorials were ideal for a beginner like me!
If you are motivated and have a passion for Interiors, this home study course is ideal and will help you on your way to becoming an Interior Designer. Best of Luck!

Having just graduated from The Interior Design Institute, I would like to say how much I really enjoyed this course.
I loved the content of the modules. The aesthetics on each module were stunning and inspiring, to say the least.Though challenging at times, this course is very manageable and extremely rewarding. I want to keep going and do at least one advanced module to enhance my diploma.
I am honestly very excited to see where this takes me, and I am really looking forward to the future!

The Interior Design Institute offers a comprehensive and well-structured course that gave me the knowledge and skills needed to create breathtaking interiors. I learned, discovered and enjoyed it a lot.
The course was self-paced, which makes it easy if you have a busy life. The lessons were well-composed and very educational. By linking each lesson to an assignment, the theory was immediately linked to practice. I particularly found my tutor's feedback on my assignments to be very helpful and productive.
Thanks, IDI, for giving me the necessary self-confidence to make my dream come true. Looking forward to learning more about interior design and architecture.

I really enjoyed this course!
I learned to understand interior design as a balance and harmony of design elements and use them correctly to create a beautiful and functional space. This course has helped to find my own style and opened up for me a lot of details that I can use to create the house of my dreams.
I totally appreciate all tips and recommendations I've got from my tutor Ashley Vancardo, and very grateful for her support! Also, I would like to thank the student support team for the fast and competent assistance at the beginning.
I definitely would recommend IDI to everybody who asks me for advice. Looking forward to continuing to create my styled home! Many thanks!

I had been wanting to change careers for a long time but not knowing where to start. I came across the Interior Design Institute, and after lots of research, I took the plunge and enrolled. It has been the best decision I have ever made.
The content is amazing, and each module is structured in a way where you can see your progress, which was a huge part of keeping my motivation going. The course took me around 10 months to complete and reignited my passion for not only interior design but also for learning. My Tutor Wendy was amazing and always on hand for support and guidance.
I would 100% recommend this course. It has been life-changing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this amazing course on interior design. The journey has been challenging but so rewarding! Unlike other courses I have done online, I totally feel, after completion of this one, confident of finding work in the industry! Which has to be the crux of any online course.
My tutor Wendi was a great help during the entire time ! How wonderful to have had access to a tutor of such experience and expertise that helped and encouraged me throughout the whole course.
I've made and met some amazing people (friends) along the way through the IDI Facebook page. It has been great to be able to share and get constructive feedback from the latter.
Thank you to everyone on the team.

Being a 30-year-old, I felt as though my “going to school” days were over, so it never even occurred to me that online courses were an option as well. That is until I discovered the IDI course last September.
Suddenly, a world of possibilities opened up. The course has greatly exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed making the assignments at my own pace.
The content of each module gave me the knowledge and confidence to keep going and initiate the next one. The detailed explanations for each module provide a decent indication of what to expect in the real world.

I withdrew from another Interior Design course to study with IDI because of the comprehensive modules, the 24/7 quality support and, of course, the course content, and I only regret not having done this earlier!
I am grateful for having completed this course! Now I am ready to launch my business!

I was so excited to start my journey with the Interior Design Institute and learn more about interior design.
I work part-time as a Business Development Executive for an interior design studio in Dublin City and I loved assisting the designers with all the projects from beginning to end. I was then asked to decorate 2 apartments for a holiday let company in Dublin (I was recommended by a friend). I loved every minute from picking the colour scheme to buying the furnishings to staging and styling the rooms.
This gave me the push I needed to start this course and I have learned so much from planning the layout, to how colour schemes work, furnishing different rooms and how to set up my own business. So I have decided to set up my own interior styling and e-design business (just on a part-time basis for the moment), hopefully as I learn and progress, this will turn into something full time.
Thank you to the Interior Design Institute for giving me the tools and confidence to make my dream become a reality. I am so excited and lucky to start working in a job that I love.
