One of the most valuable aspects of my education as an interior design student has been the opportunity to unleash my creativity and develop my unique design style. Throughout my coursework, I have been encouraged to think outside the box and push the boundaries of traditional design concepts. This freedom has allowed me to express my personality and develop a strong design aesthetic that reflects who I am as an individual.
The curriculum has been thoughtfully designed to provide a well-rounded education in all aspects of interior design. From studying color theory and spatial planning to learning about furniture design and lighting techniques, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the various elements that contribute to creating stunning interior spaces. The assignments and hands-on design projects have been particularly invaluable, as they have allowed me to apply theoretical concepts to real-world design scenarios.
The support and guidance from my tutor have been instrumental in shaping my growth as a designer. His expertise and passion for the field have inspired me to constantly strive for excellence and push myself beyond my comfort zone. He has always been accessible, offering constructive feedback and guidance, which has been crucial in refining my skills and developing a critical eye for design.
Overall, my journey as an interior design student has been a transformative experience. This course gives you the complete foundation for interior design, allowing you to go forth into the world with your new knowledge! Whether this is furthering your studies (in a specific niche or in general) or entering the workforce through internships, junior positions, retail positions, etc, you are now equipped for both.
The course is well structured and in a logical sequence - each module is full of information and going through each one builds on what you've learnt previously. It is detailed, yet easy to understand, and the support from my tutor, Wendi Snyder, was wonderful. The assignment at the end of each module really does require you to apply what you have learnt, so everything sinks in deeper.
The freedom to go through this course at my own pace and to do my own schedule was fantastic - I felt it allowed me to take more time to absorb things and not have to worry about meeting any specific deadlines.
Overall, it was a great pleasure to work through this course and complete it. I enjoyed myself through the whole process and I am excited to go further into the realm of interior design!

Before I enrolled in this course, I had absolutely no concept of interior design, but after getting in touch with it, I felt that this was simply designed for me. Both the course content and tutors, they are very professional and wonderful. This module is direct to the point and challenging, and each assignment is closely related to real-life scenarios.

Now To begin, I had a great time learning this course. The modules were indeed very inspiring and interesting. Every module was actually designed to keep us as students on our feet intellectually, always. The content was detailed and had covered many other aspects to actually make us think out of the box to complete it.
Another big thanks to my Tutor who was very attentive and guiding me through always. The replies were fast, clear and prompt always.
This whole e-learning curve with the school made me enjoy every process and gain valuable experience. My perspective towards Interior Designing has changed totally. The study platform is sleek and user-friendly, the course materials are in-depth and inspiring, and my interaction with the tutor was very constructive and encouraging. I am grateful I did not head towards the options of university to obtain a Diploma in Interior Design. A university degree would take 3-4 years, however, the online option enabled me to complete my course in 5 months with THE INTERIOR DESIGN INSTITUTE, with the help of my personal Tutor Yun.
The modules and assignments at the end of the lessons were very extensive allowing you to really practice your skills. You will be amazed with how creative your work will become.
With sufficient knowledge, I am now ready and excited to join the world of Interior Design!

I’m glad to have taken part in the online Interior Design Course via The Interior Design Institute. I have spent one and half years completing the course.
Throughout the course, I have experienced fulfillment and happiness. I do not have a background in Interior Design, but the Modules are created in a simple way, with straight forward explanations, and this helped me easily understand the information taught to me.
Furthermore, because this course is designed as an online course, due to my job during the daytime, the flexibility meant that I could work in my own time on each Assignment. I really appreciate the feedback and guidance of my Tutor and Student Support.
